He is taking the reins from Danny McGrew, who served two terms as Sheriff. Jeff Winnon was sworn in as the chief civil deputy, and Brian Shoemaker took an oath as the chief criminal deputy. All of Morehouse's other deputies were also sworn in at this time. Family, friends and the community celebrated with the new Sheriff.
